Mr. Thompson is dedicated to the jury system and representing and obtaining justice for individuals; the injured, the forgotten, the voiceless, the defenseless and the poor.
Mr. Thompson earned his college degree from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California and his law Degree from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. After graduating from law school, Mr. Thompson joined a large firm in the Bay Area, where he worked for two successful years. Mr. Thompson believed that in starting his own practice, he could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues. In 2001, Mr. Thompson founded his own law firm in Manteca, California. Since then, Mr. Thompson has represented numerous high-profile clients in State and Federal Courts. He has successfully tried jury cases to conclusion and settled large cases. The Law Offices of Terrance J. Thompson has allowed Mr. Thompson to fully realize his passion for helping people who are suffering or have been injured.
Mr. Thompson is active in a number of professional organizations and a member of several consumer organizations. He is also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion. Mr. Thompson treats every client with respect and integrity.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Thompson served as an infantry soldier in the United States military. He was honorably discharged after serving tours of duty overseas and stateside. For a short time, Mr. Thompson also worked as a Veterans Service Representative for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Mr. Thompson is an avid fisherman and sportsman. When he is not working, or spending time with his family, he can be found fishing for sturgeon and bass in the California Delta and its tributaries. Mr. Thompson is married and his wife is an attorney. They live together with their children in the Central Valley.
